THE IDEA
As we arrived in Argentina for the first time, October 1995, we were fascinated with the cultural diversity of South America.
I now realize all visitors to this land of enchantment are enthralled by the wonderful cuisine, the excitement of the entertainment world and nightlife, as well as the grandeur and diversity of the architecture.
On our early vacations there we stayed in hotels and later graduated to apartments from a rental agency... until we realized the evident potential of ownership. After the economic upheaval of 2001, large apartments in historic structures became affordable and therefore restoration became an option for us. What a grand endeavor, to locate tastefully appointed yet somewhat neglected floor space to develop into comfortably luxurious rentals to share with travelers.

Much the same as we had experienced years prior when we were novice tourists in Argentina.
We formulated a plan, choose select buildings and retrofit them into a diverse portfolio of architectural styles to share with fellow travelers. An architectural appetizer tray, an offering from the glory days of Buenos Aires. We have honored the adage “to thy own style be true” and have decorated and appointed each interior with its appropriate time period furnishings.

Case in point is the apartment on Paraguay, decorated exclusively with original art deco furnishings imported from France in 1932. We also believe true luxury can be enhanced with the best mechanical features available today. Therefore we offer a vicarious blend;state of the art mechanicals with arts of the state embellishments.

NEIGHBORHOOD

Even though the decorations, antique charm and objects d’art were paramount to us, we have not sacrificed modern amenities. We offer high speed internet connections, cable television, central heat and air conditioning and have equipped all our flats with stereo equipment and entertainment centers.

The Palacio also offers a fully equipped gym and whirlpool Jacuzzi.

EQUIPMENT

For your convenience we provide a complete listing of recommended restaurants, cafés, bistros, galleries, theaters, cinemas, and evening clubs for your dining and dancing pleasures. We provide a directory of neighborhood services for your shopping necessities.

The heart of any major city anywhere in the world can be considered unsafe and Buenos Aires is no exception. Safety was an important issue when we searched for real estate. We were calmed when we found policemen daily on duty until after midnight in our neighborhoods. You have little to be concerned about while strolling around the Avenida de Mayo or 9 de Julio avenue after an evening of dining, dancing and fine entertainment. You need walk no more than two blocks to locate a subway train to explore any other parts of Buenos Aires.

ORGANISATION
Of course it would be impossible for us to care for guests from our native homeland so we have enlisted the best local agency for your care, Bytargentina. The rentals are handled personally by them, to their terms and conditions. Should a problem occur, or if you have a special request our friend Pablo will come to your assistance.
